Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatakan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar dalam Pembelajaran IPS di Kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri Adipala 05 Kecamatan Adipala.
Fokus masalah penelitian adalah bagaimana penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning dalam pembelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar IPS siswa tentang karakteristik geografis dan kehidupan sosial, budaya, ekonomi dan politik di wilayah ASEAN?. Tujuan penelitian untuk Meningkatkan hasil belajar, motivasi belajar dan mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS materi karakteristik geografis di wilayah ASElAN menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning di kelas VI SD Negeri 05 Adipala Kecamatan Adipala.. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri Adipala 05 Kecamatan Adipala yang beralamat di Jalan Jambu Desa Adipala. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VI yang berjumlah 25 terdiri atas 12 laki-laki dan 13 perempuan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam empat tahap, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pada kondisi awal (prasiklus), hasil tes formatif menunjukkan dari 25 siswa hanya 10 (40%) dinyatakan tuntas belajar. Setelah dilaksanakan perbaikan, siklus I terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar 14 (56%) siswa tuntas dan motivasi belajar hasil observasi terhadap guru pada siklus I = 84,16% Sedangkan hasil observasi terhadap siswa pada siklus I = 81,66%. Perbaikan kembali dilakukan pada siklus II, tampak peningkatan yang signifikan, 16 (64%) siswa tuntas belajar pada pertemuan pertama dan 22 (88%) siswa tuntas belajar belajar pada pertemuan kedua.Peningkatan motivasi belajar hasil observasi terhadap guru pada siklus II = 89,36%. Sedangkan hasil observasi terhadap siswa siklus II = 88,74%. Berdasarkan analisis data, simpulan penelitian tindakan kelas adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning dalam pembelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar tentang karakteristik geografis dan kehidupan sosial, budaya, ekonomi dan politik di wilayah ASEAN kelas VI mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa.

This research aims to improve learning outcomes and learning motivation in social studies learning in Class VI of Adipala State Elementary School 05, Adipala District.
The focus of the research problem is how the use of the problem based learning model in social studies learning in elementary schools can improve students' social studies learning outcomes and motivation regarding geographical characteristics and social, cultural, economic and political life in the ASEAN region? The aim of the research is to improve learning outcomes, learning motivation and describe student obstacles and solutions in the social studies subject material on geographical characteristics in the ASElAN region using the Problem Based Learning learning model in class VI of SD Negeri 05 Adipala, Adipala District.. The research was carried out in class VI of State Elementary School Adipala 05 Adipala District whose address is Jalan Jambu, Adipala Village. The research subjects were 25 class VI students consisting of 12 boys and 13 girls. The research was carried out in four stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. In the initial conditions (pre-cycle), the results of the formative tests showed that out of 25 students, only 10 (40%) were declared to have completed their studies. After the improvements were implemented, in cycle I there was an increase in learning outcomes with 14 (56%) students completing and learning motivation as a result of observations of teachers in cycle I = 84.16%. Meanwhile, the results of observations of students in cycle I = 81.66%. Improvements were made again in cycle II, there was a significant increase, 16 (64%) students had completed learning at the first meeting and 22 (88%) students had completed learning at the second meeting. Increased learning motivation as a result of observations of teachers in cycle II = 89, 36%. Meanwhile, the results of observations on cycle II students = 88.74%. Based on data analysis, the conclusion of the classroom action research is that the use of the problem based learning model in social studies learning in elementary schools regarding geographical characteristics and social, cultural, economic and political life in the ASEAN region for class VI is able to improve learning outcomes and student learning motivation.
