Abstract

PT. Mie Ho Kie San merupakan industri manufaktur yang memproduksi mie kering di Kabupaten Banyumas. Saat ini keadaan tata letak proses produksinya belum memperhatikan tingkat kedekatan antar departemen produksi sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya arus bolak-balik (backtracking) dan perpindahan bahan berpotongan (cross movement). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa dan membuat relayout proses produksi mie kering tekuk halus untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu proses produksinya sehingga memberikan efektivitas tinggi terhadap perusahaan. Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) digunakan untuk menganalisa derajat kegiatan yang dinyatakan penilaian dengan menggunakan kode huruf dan angka, sedangkan Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) digunakan untuk membuat diagram hubungan antaraktivitas berdasarkan tingkat prioritas kedekatan yang dihasilkan oleh metode ARC. Hasil simulasi menggunakan software ProModel versi student menunjukan waktu untuk satu kali produksi menggunakan layout awal memakan waktu selama
91.46 menit, sedangkan layout alternatif memakan waktu 90.31 menit. Hasil perbandingan dua waktu produksi tersebut menyatakan layout alternatif mengalami peningkatan efisien dengan terjadinya pengurangan waktu normal sebesar 1.15 menit. Peningkatan tersebut memberikan efek cukup besar terhadap output yang dihasilkan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan output yang dihasilkan oleh layout awal sebanyak 200 produk, sedangkan layout alternatif menghasilkan output sebanyak 308 produk. Maka, dengan peningkatan efisiensi waktu sebesar 1.15 menit menggunakan layout alternatif mampu meningkatkan output mie kering tekuk halus sebesar 54% dari output sebelumnya.

PT. Ho Kie San Noodles is a manufacturing industry that produces dry noodles in Banyumas Regency. Currently, the layout of the production process has not paid attention to the level of closeness between production departments, resulting in backtracking and cross movement. The purpose of this study is to analyze and relayout the production process of finely bent dry noodles to increase the efficiency of the production process time so as to provide high effectiveness to the company. Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) is used to analyze the degree of activity expressed assessment using letter and number codes, while Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) is used to diagram relationships between activities based on the priority level of proximity generated by the ARC method. The simulation results using the student version of ProModel software show that the time for one production using the initial layout takes 91.46 minutes, while the alternative layout takes 90.31 minutes. The results of the comparison of the two production times stated that the alternative layout increased efficiency with a reduction in normal time by 1.15 minutes. The increase has a considerable effect on the output produced. The simulation results show the output produced by the initial layout as many as 200 products, while the alternative layout produces an output of 308 products. Thus, with an increase in time efficiency of 1.15 minutes using an alternative layout was able to increase the output of fine bent dry noodles by 54% from the previous output .
