Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya nilai rasa ingin tahu dan prestasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu dan prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran PKn materi dampak globalisasi di lingkungan melalui melalui model mind mapping. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian rasa ingin tahu siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 3,09 dan persentase 77,27 % dan siklus II diperoleh rata-rata 3,47 dan persentase 86,83 %. Hasil penilaian prestasi belajar siklus I diperoleh rata-rata kelas 79,11 dengan persentase 82,35% dan siklus II diperoleh rata-rata kelas 84,77 dengan persentase 85,29 %. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model mind mapping dapat meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu dan prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran PKn kelas IV. ================================================================
This research was motivated by the low value of students' curiosity and achievement. This research aims to increase students' curiosity and learning achievement in Civics subjects regarding the impact of globalization on the environment through a mind mapping model. Based on the results of research on curiosity, cycle I obtained an average of 3.09 and a percentage of 77.27% and cycle II obtained an average of 3.47 and a percentage of 86.83%. The results of the learning achievement assessment for cycle I obtained a class average of 79.11 with a percentage of 82.35% and for cycle II obtained a class average of 84.77 with a percentage of 85.29%. Thus, it can be concluded that the mind mapping model can increase students' curiosity and learning achievement in class IV Civics subjects.
