Abstract
Revolusi industri mendorong adaptasi digital dan peningkatan kualitas produk di sektor bisnis. UMKM Kabupaten Cilacap diminta untuk berinovasi, meningkatkan kualitas, dan menerapkan Total Quality Management (TQM) guna meningkatkan daya saing, seperti yang ditemukan dalam studi kasus di DPKUKM Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Total Quality Management (TQM) terhadap kinerja Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Cilacap. Selain itu, penelitian juga menyelidiki dampak TQM pada orientasi pasar dan pengaruh signifikan orientasi pasar terhadap kinerja UMKM. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi apakah orientasi pasar memediasi hubungan antara TQM dan kinerja UMKM di Cilacap.
Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner atau angket. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik probability sampling. Populasi yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah 20.976 pelaku UMKM di di DPKUKM Kabupaten Cilacap dengan sampel sebanyak 100 orang karyawan yang berasal dari 14 hotel berbintang. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan analisis regresi linier untuk hipotesis 1, 2, 3, dan 4.
Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: (1) Total Quality Management (TQM) secara positif dan signifikan memengaruhi kinerja UMKM di Cilacap, dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 8,453, melebihi nilai t tabel (1,660) dengan nilai r square 0,215; (2) TQM juga berperan dalam membentuk Orientasi Pasar di Cilacap, dengan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel (7,152 > 1,660) dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dengan nilai r square 0,343; (3) Orientasi Pasar sendiri memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM, dengan koefisien beta sebesar 0,793 dan nilai t sebesar 12,904>1,660 serta nilai r square 0,630; (4) Orientasi Pasar memediasi hubungan antara TQM dan kinerja UMKM, dengan nilai signifikansi F sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan F > F tabel (82,409 > 3,09) serta nilai s square sebesar 0,630. Kesimpulan ini menggarisbawahi peran krusial Orientasi Pasar dalam mengoptimalkan dampak TQM pada kinerja UMKM di wilayah tersebut.

The industrial revolution is driving digital adaptation and product quality improvement in the business sector. MSMEs in Cilacap Regency are asked to innovate, improve quality, and implement Total Quality Management (TQM) to increase competitiveness, as found in a case study in DPKUKM Cilacap Regency. This study aims to evaluate the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Cilacap. In addition, the study also testing end analyzing the impact of TQM on market orientation and the significant influence of market orientation on MSME performance. Furthermore, this study identifies whether market orientation mediates the relationship between TQM and MSME performance in Cilacap.
The data collection method in this study was a questionnaire or questionnaire. The sampling technique used is the probability sampling technique. The population that became the object of research was 20,976 MSME actors in DPKUKM Cilacap Regency with a sample of 100 employees from 14 star hotels. Hypothesis testing is performed by linear regression analysis for hypotheses 1, 2, 3, and 4.
This study found that: (1) Total Quality Management (TQM) positively and significantly affected the performance of MSMEs in Cilacap, with a calculated t value of 8.453, exceeding the table t value (1.660) with an r square value of 0.215; (2) TQM also plays a role in shaping Market Orientation in Cilacap, with a calculated t value greater than the table t (7.152 > 1.660) and a significance value of 0.000 with an r square value of 0.343; (3) Market Orientation itself has a positive and significant influence on the performance of MSMEs, with a beta coefficient of 0.793 and a t value of 12.904>1.660 and an r square value of 0.630; (4) Market Orientation mediates the relationship between TQM and MSME performance, with a significance value of F of 0.000 < 0.05 and F > F of the table (82.409 > 3.09) and an s square value of 0.630. This conclusion underscores the crucial role of Market Orientation in optimizing the impact of TQM on the performance of MSMEs in the region.
