Abstract
Lembaga Entrance Cilacap merupakan lembaga kursus dan bimbingan belajar yang sudah memiliki website sebagai media untuk memberikan informasi kepada penggunanya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dari google analytics dan google console website Entrance serta analisis heatmaps dapat disimpulkan bahwa desain user interface dianggap buruk karena masih rendahnya aktifitas pengguna dihalaman website serta durasi waktu yang singkat yang mengindikasikan bahwa sebagian besar pengunjung meninggalkan situs dengan cepat. Hal tersebut menjadi permasalahan pada desain user interface terutama pada bagian navigasi yang buruk serta banyaknya konten yang kosong sehingga termasuk kategori usability yang tidak baik. Dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan yang berfokus pada pengguna (user) penelitian ini menggunakan metode Human Centered Design (HCD), yang bertujuan untuk membuat sistem supaya lebih efektif dan efisien dengan melibatkan pengguna.
Evaluasi desain awal dan desain solusi sama-sama menggunakan teknik heatmaps serta data dari google analytics dan google console website Entrance Cilacap. Pada hasil perbandingan keduanya desain solusi memperoleh nilai yang lebih baik daripada desain awal website Entrance Cilacap. Sehingga desain solusi dipilih karena telah berhasil meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna yang lebih baik, serta mampu meningkatkan aktifitas pengguna sehingga pengguna lebih lama dalam melanjutkan pencarian dihalaman desain solusi yang telah dibuat. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses optimasi user interface menggunakan metode human centered design berhasil meningkatkan usability website, serta bisa dijadikan solusi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang telah ditemukan.

The Cilacap Entrance Institute is a course and tutoring institution that already has a website as a medium for providing information to its users. Based on the results of data analysis from Google Analytics and Google Console of the Entrance website as well as heatmaps analysis, it can be concluded that the user interface design is considered poor because there is still low user activity on the website pages and the short time duration which indicates that most visitors leave the site quickly. This is a problem in user interface design, especially in the poor navigation section and the large amount of empty content so that it falls into the category of poor usability. In order to meet user-focused needs, this research uses the Human Centered Design (HCD) method, which aims to make the system more effective and efficient by involving users.
Initial design evaluation and solution design both use heatmaps techniques as well as data from Google Analytics and Google Console on the Entrance Cilacap website. In the results of the comparison between the two, the solution design obtained a better score than the initial design of the Entrance Cilacap website. So the solution design was chosen because it was considered to have succeeded in improving the user experience better, and was able to increase user activity so that users took longer to continue searching on the solution design page that had been created. From these results it can be concluded that the user interface optimization process using the human centered design method has succeeded in increasing the usability of the website, and can be used as a solution to solve the problems that have been found.
