Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya efektivitas metode tahsin dalam pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur'an bagi jama'ah di Masjid Al Muhajirin Perumahan Gunung Simping Permai Cilacap. Metode tahsin adalah metode yang mengajarkan ilmu tajwid dan makhorijul huruf dengan cara memberikan penjelasan kepada jama'ah.
Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik field reseach dan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi dari responden Masjid Al Muhajirin Perumahan Gunung Simping Permai Cilacap yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode tahsin dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur'an di masjid tersebut efektif. Meskipun metode tahsin terbukti efektif, terdapat beberapa kendala dalam penerapannya. Metode ini mampu meningkatkan kecintaan terhadap Al-Qur'an, kemampuan membaca, dan hasil belajar jama'ah. Meskipun demikian, perlu adanya perbaikan terhadap kendala yang ada guna meningkatkan efektivitas metode tahsin dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman dan pengembangan metode pembelajaran Al-Qur'an yang efektif di lingkungan masjid.

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the effectiveness of the tahsin method in learning to read the Koran for congregation at the Al Muhajirin Mosque, Housing Gunung Simping Permai Cilacap. The tahsin method is a method that prohibits the science of tajwid and makhorijul letters and provides explanation to the congregation.
This study used field research techniques and a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation studies from respondents to the Al Muhajirin Mosque, Housing Gunung Simping Permai Cilacap, which were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis.
The results showed that the use of the tahsin method in learning the Qur'an at the mosque was effective. Although the tahsin method has proven effective, there are several obstacles in its application. This method is able to increase the love of the Qur'an, reading ability, and learning outcomes of the congregation. Nevertheless, it is necessary to improve the existing constraints in order to increase the effectiveness of the tahsin method in the long term. This research contributes to the understanding and development of effective Al-Qur'an learning methods in the mosque environment.
