Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan metode demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar IPAS kelas IV SDN Kuripan 02. Penelitian eksperimen merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk melihat adanya pengaruh dari perlakuan tertentu. Jenis eksperimen dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Dalam desain penelitian ini, dua kelompok dipilih secara tidak acak. Kemudian dilakukan pre-test untuk mengetahui apakah kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol berbeda dalam keadaan awal.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi dalam proses pembelajaran IPAS materi gaya di sekitar kita pada SDN Kuripan 02 meningkat. Kenaikan rata-rata nilai pada kelas eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan yaitu dari rata-rata 58,18 menjadi 78,18. Ketuntasan hasil belajar juga mengalami peningkatan dari 50% menjadi 86%. Mengacu pada hasil uji N Gain Score didapatkan niali sebesar 0,45 yang artinya terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar namun berada dikategori sedang. Berdasarkan uji independent sample t test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,047 yang artinya nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05. Kriteria penerimaan hipotesis yaitu nilai signifikansi nilai alpha. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan nilai 0,047 0,05 berarti Ho ditolak dan Hα diterima. Artinya “Ada pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar IPAS”.

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using the demonstration method on the learning outcomes of IPAS class IV SDN Kuripan 02. Experimental research is a research method used to see the effect of certain treatments. The type of experiment in this study was Quasi Experimental with a research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. In this research design, two groups were selected non-randomly. Then a pre-test was conducted to find out whether the experimental group and the control group were different in the initial state.
The results showed that the application of the demonstration learning method in the learning process of IPAS force material around us at SDN Kuripan 02 increased. The increase in the average score in the experimental class before and after being treated was from an average of 58.18 to 78.18. The completeness of learning outcomes also increased from 50% to 86%. Referring to the results of the N Gain Score test, a value of 0.45 was obtained, which means that there was an increase in learning outcomes but was in the medium category. Based on the independent sample t test, the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.047 which means the significance value is less than 0.05. The criteria for accepting the hypothesis is the significance value of the alpha value. So it can be concluded that the value of 0.047 0.05 means Ho is rejected and Hα is accepted. This means that "There is an effect of using the demonstration learning method on IPAS learning outcomes".
